This compact SUV paired a nimble frame with superior ground clearance - allowing drivers to deftly respond to changing terrains. Smooth performance was assured, as was victory over the Volkswagen Atlas.

Jeep meticulously designed the 2018 Grand Cherokee, delivering a lean profile to BC drivers. It spanned between 189-inches and 191-inches in length, while its narrow width (77-inches) was complemented by an aerodynamic height ratio (68-inches to 69-inches). The front track measured a mere 63.9-inches, affording tight turns; while the 114.8-inch wheelbase featured a sculpted shape that could slice through air, boasting a drag resistance coefficient of 0.371. To further impress, this platform was fused with 8.6-inches of minimum ground clearance; and this allowed for smooth performance on even the toughest trails.

In comparison, the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas featured a less svelte profile - measuring 198-inches in length, 78-inches in width, and 70-inches in height. Its larger front track (67.2-inches) hindered cornering, while the limited ground clearance (8-inches) undermined backroad adventures. It lacked the finesse of the Grand Cherokee.
