It emphasizes comfort with every adventure.

It also promises efficiency.

To ensure that BC families spend more time on the road - and less at the pump - Dodge paired its 2018 Durango with an economical engine suite. The 3.6L V6 yields 18 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway (resulting in a Combined rating of 21 MPG). To accomplish this feat, it utilizes both a smooth eight-speed automatic transmission and sequential MPI technology. This function helps to better distribute resources, lessening unnecessary fuel burn and better responding to gear changes.

Through this, the 2018 Durango can deliver exceptional efficiency - especially when compared to its main rival, the Ford Explorer. This V6 model offers only 16 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway; and even its yearly carbon emissions (9.8 tons per year) prove higher than Dodge's (8.4). It won’t impress at the pump.
